The Salida Union School District Board of Trustees announces its intention to appoint a Trustee for Area 4 due to failure to elect (no candidate). The term of this appointment concludes December 2028.

All qualified persons who would like to apply for the open position on the Salida Union School District Board of Trustees may contact Kalin Kent at the Salida Union School District Office at 4801 Sisk Road, Salida, California 95368, (209) 543-3119, for an application.   All applications must be submitted on or before September 30, 2024, no later than 4:00 p.m. to the Superintendent’s Office of the Salida Union School District Office at 4801 Sisk Road, Salida, California 95368.

Qualifications for Office:

  • The applicant shall be a registered voter of the Trustee Area 4.
  • Not disqualified from holding civil office
  • Not a current district employee (or will resign his/her employment)
Area 4 begins at the intersection of San Tropez Dr and Toomes Rd; thence proceeding northeasterly along San Tropez Dr to Overland Place; thence proceeding northerly along Overland Place to Covert Rd; thence proceeding easterly along Covert Rd to Finney Rd; thence proceeding southerly along Finney Rd to the Mid Lateral Canal Number 6; thence proceeding northeasterly along the Canal to the Union Pacific Railroad; thence proceeding southeasterly along the Railroad to Salida Blvd; thence proceeding southwesterly along Salida Blvd to Murphy Rd; thence proceeding northwesterly and westerly along Murphy Rd and continuing westerly along Bacon Rd to Toomes Rd; thence proceeding northerly along Toomes Rd to the point of beginning.
