Welcome to Industrial Arts

In our Industrial Arts course, students will spend the trimester developing a wide range of hands‑on skills that connect creativity with craftsmanship. They will practice accurate measuring and cutting, learn to use drafting tools to produce precise technical drawings, and safely operate equipment such as sewing machines, saws, and drill presses. Students will also explore modern technologies like 3D printing and laser cutting, alongside traditional processes such as sanding, painting, and hand sewing. Through these experiences, they will gain confidence in using tools, understanding materials, and applying design thinking to real‑world challenges. The course emphasizes building practical abilities while fostering problem‑solving, innovation, and collaboration, giving students a strong foundation in both artistic expression and industrial production.
